Donate by Design is a non-profit student organization from University of Illinois at Chicago that designs, teaches, and creates handmade items to be sold.

DbD is UIC's reigning craft club, dedicated to designing, teaching, and creating handmade items to be sold. All of our proceeds benefit non-profit organizations that help victims of r**e, stalking, and hate crimes. Meetings are held twice a month (1 GBM + 1 Project Night), in addition to other scheduled activities/Pinterest Parties. DONATE BY DESIGN ACTIVITIES:

Hi fellow crafters!

Can't believe how time flies by! We have about one month left before the semester ends! Come and join for our LAST general body of the semester. We will be making two crafts! First, we will be collaborating with the Women's Leadership Board for a Gift Giving on a Budget workshop where we will be making journals! Our creations will be donated to Mercy Homes for Boys and Girls which helps youth escape poverty, abuse, and neglect.

Our second craft will be decorating ornaments for the upcoming holiday season! Be sure not to miss out!

Our meeting will be this Thursday, November 10th in Burnham B6 (same room as last time) from 5:00-7:00pm (you don't have to stay the entire two hours. We offer this time range so students who have later classes can still participate!) As always there will be food! Hope to see you all there!

Hello fellow crafters,

Just a friendly reminder that our general body meeting is TODAY in Burnham Hall B6 from 5-7pm (you don't have to stay the entire two hours. We offer this time range so students who have later classes can still participate!).

Don't forget to bring your photos and pictures today to the meeting for your craft! But no worries if you forget your pictures, you can still participate. We have a cool second craft planned as well that doesn't involve using photos!

It’s once again time for our annual Gift Giving on a Budget workshop. For the 7th year, we will get together to learn how to make an inexpensive gift and donate many of the creations to a local community agency. This year we will learn to make Fabulous Felt Purses for under $5.
