This is a special one for me because I had one of my first performances here with the around 2006 singing in the chorus of The Magic Flute opera thanks to - so many times after rehearsal me and my friends would sit in the cultural center and sing so that those unforgettable acoustics would pick us up. can’t forget about my connection to either! I’m so Chicago and I want this performance to be dedicated to the city, teachers, mentors, friends who have made me the human and artist that I am today.

this is your reminder to slow down, be grateful and take in that moment of rest and relaxation you’ve been craving.

TAKMWISS: THE REMIXES is for the ones who felt stillness in a world that kept moving.

We’re bringing it back full circle. One year ago, I shared me and EP They All Kept Moving While I Stood Still with the world, and now it’s time to celebrate the anniversary with a remix release party at Miyagi Records.

In all seriousness, I have a show on 8/31 and I am so humbled and honored to playing an intimate show of stripped back songs of around 45min. Think if Maxwell and Jazmine Sullivan had a love child… that’s what this set will give.
