In October of 2025 John Heiderscheidt had the privilege to sit down with the archbishop of Chicago and discuss creating a framework for moral justice around Immigration law in the United States. We are thrilled and honored that the CBA Immigration and Nationality Law Committee received the second annual CBAY award for the best seminar of the year.

John is so thankful to everyone who played a role in this seminar, and wants to especially acknowledge the Public Affairs Committee and the CLE program for their impactful help.

He is deeply grateful to Judge Patton, who personally recognized our work and has been a phenomenal steward for the CBA.
