This was a quick project we made happier for a repeat client. In the middle of our first install she showed me this horse head she bought over 13 years ago when she and her husband were just dating and life was different. It was in her basement just waiting to be showcased.

She asked if could help and of course we could. We sourced the walnut burl slab from which was in CA and got to process, CNC the base and finish with epoxy. Then our contractor Brendan killed it with the install by opening up the wall adding additional wall studs and made this happen. This took months to come to fruition and is really a small example of what we can do.

This one was special.

This project has been something my client has wanted for a long time, a dream to bring more light into her kitchen while finally sealing off the cold air coming in from the back porch.

We replaced the old back door with a custom insulated wood door, designed to let in light while maintaining privacy, and built a custom stained glass transom above it to add character and warmth. The entire opening was reframed, sealed, insulated, and finished with a custom stain to match the home and make the space feel intentional and complete.

This is a repeat client, and we’re always grateful when someone trusts us again to take on something meaningful in their home. Projects like this are a reminder that good design isn’t just about how things look, it’s about how a space feels to live in every day.

Ended the year with this custom kitchen table and custom base for client in andersonville.

Just finished this custom banquette table for our neighbors and I love how it turned out.

They had a tight kitchen nook and wanted something that actually fit how they live — sliding in and out easily, the right height, and durable enough for snacks, crafts, and Lego time with their daughter. So we designed the table around their life, not the other way around.

The walnut top warms up the space and is easy to clean, and the base was completely custom and shipped from Turkey so we could hit the exact height and footprint needed to keep the nook open and comfortable.

The goal was simple: make the kitchen feel finished, warmer, and more livable — a spot to eat, play, and hang out.

I’m honestly thinking this might become a regular offering for us.
