Callaloo is adding three steelband options to it's performing groups. You've been able to enjoy the original 6-person group which has steelpan as the main melodic instrument, marimba, Latin percussion, drumset, guitar, and bass for the past 17 years. Two years ago, we added our 4-person group (no marimba or Latin perc), and solo steelpan with recorded accompaniment is the most often booked option.

Callaloo is performing at Chicago Botanic Garden on Wed June 25, from 6:00 - 7:30. Concert is FREE, just pay for parking!

Our recording session in the north woods of Wisconsin last weekend was a great time for us to get together, away from distractions, and record some fun Christmas arrangements. I released them on our Bandcamp page and my daughter Evelyn created the album cover art! Here's the link that page:

We scheduled a recording session in November to record some Christmas music and possibly a couple arrangements depending on how everything goes. We will be engineering the session ourselves so we're excited for the new adventure!
