We open TONIGHT! Fleetwood Mac: The Album: The Musical is an unauthorized outdoor one-woman show, and that one woman...is Beth Hyland!
Beth Hyland (Stephie; Book/Music/Lyrics) is excited and scared to return to acting for the first time since 2014, when she unsuccessfully tried to make herself cry in a Gruesome Playground Injury scene study class. She hopes FM: TA: TM can be a first step toward becoming the Girl Mike Birbiglia.

Stephie and her boyfriend were supposed to perform a Fleetwood Mac jukebox musical together--but then he dumped her. Can she put on the show alone, or will she crash and burn? Fleetwood Mac: The Album: The Musical is an extremely deranged one-woman musical comedy about failure, love, and rock and roll.
Proof of COVID vaccination required (a clear picture of your vaccine card is acceptable). Masks are required inside Borelli's but will not be required on the rooftop.

What was the first CD you ever bought? I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling it was something like Axis Bold as Love by Jimi Hendrix or Blood on the Tracks by Bob Dylan. I basically only listened to '60's/70's rock and folk until I was 15. I am a parody of myself.
Favorite musical? I don't know if it's my favorite musical, but for some reason my family listened to the Huckleberry Finn adaptation Big River all the time in the car. And I was fairly obsessed with it. Not sure if it holds up, but I can still sing every lyric...
Favorite concert you've seen in Chicago? Pitchfork a couple of years ago I got to see Tuneyards, St. Vincent, and Neutral Milk Hotel back to back to back. That was special.
What's your go-to pre-show pump up song? I am way too anxious to need a pump up song before a show. I need a pump down song. For this show specifically, I've been listening to a lot of Elliott Smith to get me in ~the zone~.
What's one thing that you relate to about your character? I most definitely connect to this character's crippling fear of failure. Oof. And, in his better moments, Con is in pursuit of sensitive, honest expression. I like that about him.

What was the first CD you ever bought?: Destiny's Child!
Favorite musical? Into The Woods, baby!
Favorite concert you've seen in Chicago? BEYONCE all THREE times, but specifically The Formation tour which was truly religious.
What's your go-to pre-show pump up song? Night Shift by Lucy Dacus (100% Masha vibes), but possibly a pump-down though? haha.
What's one thing that you relate to about your character? I think she really strives to let her friends be great/lift them up even when it's brutally hard on her heart...I love my friends that way too/They are truly my chosen family

What was the first CD you ever bought? The Juno Soundtrack...Weird Al and Tenacious D we’re both Christmas gifts so those don’t count.
Favorite musical? Newsies. My brother and I would wash the dishes to the first four or five songs on The Newsies CD growing up and writing this now I’m just realizing that we were belting songs about child labor laws while my parents watched.
Favorite concert you've seen in Chicago? Oh man. Caroline Rose freaking rocked so hard last year.
What's your go-to pre-show pump up song? Losers by Bell Brigade or Better Son Or Daughter by Rilo Kiley or Don’t Wanna Be Cool by Donny Trumpet or probably a three-part cocktail of those. I cheated! I choose all music!
What's one thing that you relate to about your character? I think about humor as a fundamentally empathetic and redemptive tool and I also make jokes about p**p. (shot on film by Ella Pennington) @ Chicago, Illinois
