It could be an office, an interior design showroom, a storage space, florist, yoga or pilates studio — the landlord says no to messy or noisy businesses. It's a great space in a fantastic location at Hubbard and Wolcott — right near Salvage One and a lot of venues. Please share with anyone you know. If you can help me find someone to take the space, there's a reward in it for you.

A lot of you have been asking what I’ve been up to since closing BDP after 31 years. Today, on Earth Day, I’m pulling back the curtain — just a little. 👀

For over a decade, BDP was recognized as the most sustainable catering company in the country. We composted, we farmed, and we hosted hundreds of students, companies, and organizations who wanted to learn how we did it. That work never left me, and I really enjoyed talking about it.

So I went back to school at the beginning of last year to learn more about what we were already doing. I completed an intensive Sustainable Business Strategy program at Stanford — and now I’m channeling all of it into something new.
I’m not ready to reveal everything yet, but I am ready to share this fun and dirty project that has become a passion project for me:

The Big Delicious Planet building and urban farm are officially on the market.

This property has been home to 16 years of creativity, hard work, and community — and to a business that grew and evolved over 31 years. In 2012, I started our urban farm on three city lots with the belief that hospitality could be more thoughtful, more connected to the land, more fun, and a beautiful setting for intimate event events.

I’m incredibly proud of what we built here, and my hope is that the next steward will recognize how special this place is and continue nurturing the farm and the spirit behind it.

After 31 incredible years, Big Delicious Planet is closing at the end of 2025.
This company has been my life’s work — built with so much love, creativity, and a whole lot of passion. I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who’s been part of our journey. What a beautiful ride it’s been! 🥂
