I hope everyone is striking spending any money today. But as a reminder, spending local is always more ethical. Supporting artists is better than supporting big retailers. That being said, I feel like now is a great time to remind y’all that my work is always for sale. You can purchase anything from me, starting tomorrow.
United we can make change happen. F**k ICE, F**k Trump, F**k this administration, F**k MAGA. ICE out now. Dismantle and prosecute.

Sometimes the only thing I can think to do to process the madness we live in is to make art.

As I worked through school, I was often told that I needed to choose a style, develop my own voice, find a ways of making and stick with it. Granted, I was an illustration major and for that field, this is very true. How can someone hire you for something if they are not 100% sure that you will deliver a certain style etc. Unfortunately for me, my style is a chaotic and multi-faceted thing. I need to create in a multitude of styles in order to feel fully at home in my creative process. I love mixing media and styles of making. Through the years I have made a lot of different styles of work, though I feel like my voice, a creative fingerprint if you will, is still present within all of the work. From drawings, to ceramics, to tattoos.
There is a chaos in my process. Often I make ten plus experiments for every finished piece that is seen by the public. What results is a lot of creative detritus- open ended ideas and sentences left hanging on my studio walls for years after their initial inception. This new body of work re-examines those partial thoughts, bringing them back together with a critical and curatorial eye, out of the past and into the present moment. “(In) Complete Sentences” is a project designed to reflect on the chaos of creation and find through lines throughout time and space.

Happy New Year! (Only 9 days late… ) I am so excited to start being more active on this account again.
For those of you who know, I have been spending a lot of time working the past few years devoting my time to becoming proficient in a new medium: tattooing. While I was learning and putting in the work for the initial stage of my new career, I had to spend less time in the studio than I would have liked. Tattooing, teaching, and a studio practice left no time for a life and art making had to take a backseat to my other pursuits and my mental health.
I am excited (and saddened- bittersweet) to say that in 2026, I am stepping away from teaching to focus on growing my tattoo practice and to return to my personal artistic pursuits. This will take many forms, but the first step is coming from this new series that I have begun in my studio this past weekend. “(In)complete Sentences” is an on-going series that is a fresh take on combining all of my favorite forms of creative expression.
Let me know what you think of the new work and reach out if you have any interest in seeing them in person or acquiring them.
More news to come soon, but for now, enjoy this first piece of my new series: “(In) Complete Sentences”

Over the weekend, I had an idea to make an ink painting of one of my favorite flash design pieces, I have been privileged enough to tattoo on multiple clients: my cuttlefish. I was purposely designing it as a banner to fit in a particular frame that I had laying around, but later a good friend and talented artist, Anna Wren, suggested the design could work really well as a lower leg sleeve seed. I mocked it up and tend to agree 😏 what do you think?
The painting is a work in progress- as is the leg sleeve idea -but definitely hit me up if you have any interest in claiming this one off design!
I hope you enjoy seeing the process of a late night drawing session and how the thinking goes into making an analog ink painting!
And as always if you’re a follower of my painting account but not my tattoo account I invite you to head on over and give me a follow whether you are interested in getting a tattoo or not- social media algorithms determine much of my business unfortunately, and every follow counts, and every like matters -every share is a potential new client for me.
Thank you so much for being an amazing community for supporting me through my journey as an artist. I hope I can continue to provide you with unique artwork for your homes and bodies for years to come.
Comment below other designs that you’d be interested to see painted in a similar style- whether to hang on your walls or to decorate your limbs. 🤘🏼😎
Oh yeah, and f**k 🧊!
