Sorry kids, brew day is delayed one day to let my aching body rest.

Bottling some Belgian Pale Ale over at the Square One Brewhaus...damn this beer is delicious.

First taste of Scoutmaster. Gonna let it bottle condition for a another month or two to see if the overpowering mint flavor mellows out. Don't worry, we'll brew another, slightly tweaked batch later this Summer.

Officially joined the American Homebrewers Association...let the learning and benefits begin!

well...tasted the first batch of Scoutmaster tonight. I always said I'd be completely honest with my beer I brew. This one didn't turn out the best. There was too much mint added during fermentation. I think the next batch I do I'll just use regular Ghirardelli milk choclate instead of the Twilight Dark and about 1/3 of what I used on the mint. Part of brewing is experimenting and learning what works, and what doesn't.
On to the next brew for now, Campbell Clan Scotch Ale!

This evening we'll crack open the last bottle we filled that didn't fill all the way to get an early sneak peek at how Scoutmaster turned out.
I'll be honest in whether it is great or sucks. Keep your fingers crossed for greatness though! We have lots more brewing for the future!
