Same Planet Performance Project seeks dancers for the creation of a new work.

The audition will include a class-style warm-up, learning company repertory and guided improvisational exercises. We will move in groups and there will be no partnering elements.

Dancers should be open to individual improvisation explorations as well as choreographed phrase work.

Dancers should ideally be available for a performance in January 2024 and weekly rehearsals & classes* leading up to the show
*schedule tbd

Dancers receive a rehearsal stipend and free class at Dovetail Studios.

Same Planet returns to The Garage at Dovetail Studios for an evening length work, Things Hidden and Left Unsaid.

Things Hidden and Left Unsaid is a contemporary dance piece that entertains ideas of silence, regret and sometimes rage; experiences one might have when essential words and conversations are never said.

Starting this Tuesday, SPPP company member Enid Smith will be teaching at Dovetail Studios every week. 10-11:15am, $15 drop-in. We would love to see you there!

Introducing Company Class with Enid Smith! Beginning Tuesday 4/26 at 10am. 🌷 Enid will be leading a contemporary modern-based class taught with the professional dancer in mind!
Drop-in class rate is $15 for industry artists, $18 general rate. Class pass packages are accepted for this class as well.
