Auditions are now live for our next performance, The Dinosaur of Lake Michigan! πŸŒŠπŸ¦–πŸŒŠ

Kerfuffle and Rabbitfoot Puppetry are seeking adventurous and enthusiastic performers for The Dinosaur of Lake Michigan, an interactive play for very young children and their caregivers that will perform at Night Out in the Parks this summer. This is a world premiere co-production conceived by Rachel Hartmann, Ashley Laverty, and Emilie Wingate, directed by Alyssa Vera Ramos.

Synopsis: The Dinosaur of Lake Michigan is an outdoor puppet play designed for very young children aged 3-6 with their caregivers. Taking place on and near the beaches of Chicago, it examines the climate emergency using hyper realistic animal puppets made out of recyclable items, live music, and physical storytelling. This interactive play is an exciting introduction to site specific theatre for very young children that highlights the importance of community care in light of the ever growing climate emergency.

More information about the audition process, important dates & pay rate can be found on our audition page here!: https://bit.ly/KerfuffleDoLM

Please direct any audition-related inquiries to Production Manager Miranda Taylor at [email protected].

Thank YOU to our audience for a wonderful turnout this weekend for behold! β˜€οΈ

With multiple sold out shows, we had a wonderful morning of laughter, song and joy! Thank you to all for joining us and making our residency finale one to remember! A special thank you to Writers Theatre for being fantastic collaborative partners throughout this entire creative process and for providing such an inspiring place to develop and share our opera.

This would not have been possible without the artistic vision of behold's librettist Veronica Raufer Chamberlain, composer Gillian Rae Perry, and Artistic Director Ashley Laverty. We're so thankful to the musical geniuses on vibraphone and clarinetist with the beautiful performances of Celeste & Fern brought to life by vocalists Logan Smart and Amanda Payne.

A thank you to our Production Manager Miranda Taylor, Marketing Manager Tikal Rivera and Stage Manager Vibyana Sacluti. And of course, thank you to all of you who make our work possible. Stay tuned for our upcoming engagements on our website β€” we're excited to show you what we have coming up next!
