According to my mom’s FB memories, 11 years ago today was the first time I saw a bow. My dad took me with him to get sighted in for a hunt. I remember telling my mom, “I wanna do that.”
A friend’s mom found a Boy Scout leader who taught lessons, and we both started going. Needless to say, I was hooked.

Happy Father’s Day to my dad, Dennis West! I love you, Dad! Thank you for always being there!

Thursday night I had the opportunity to talk to a few Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada who are interested in archery. They let me stick around and help teach. And then they started shooting off for the famous Girl Scout cookies! So I had to join in. 😂

At the Meet the Pros event tonight, we had a great time getting to meet several of the “Next Gen” archers. Thanks to everyone who spent their Saturday evening with us. And congratulations to all of the junior archers who received their awards tonight!

The Vegas Shoot starts tomorrow! It’s at a new location this year, at The Horseshoe and The Paris, so I’m excited to see how it all goes.

The Vegas Shoot National Field Archery Association

I had such an amazing time at the 2025 NFAA Indoor Nationals! Day one was so much fun and I was able to stay clean with a 300 60x. Day two I had a few mistakes, but I am still really happy with how I finished overall at my first tournament as a professional archer! The venue was so pretty and it was so much fun getting to see Chicago for the first time.
Now to get ready for Vegas!

Picked up my NFAA/NBHA Nevada State All-Around Champion buckle last weekend!

There are a lot of fake accounts being created with archers’ names and photos trying to sell shirts. I’ve seen mine, Steve Anderson’s, Jacob Marlow’s and Kira Cook in the past couple days.
Just beware and don’t click on them. Just block them.
