Stuffed Love Food Pantry distributions are currently not on a set schedule as we work to secure additional product.

Distributions will return to both locations — the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health and the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at Iglesia Santa Cruz — as soon as we have enough product available.

In the meantime, the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health, 5522 S. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, is being stocked daily as food comes in.

Please continue to follow our page for the latest updates. We will announce future distributions as soon as they are confirmed.

With no power in her own home, she chose not to let good food go to waste. Instead, she thought of families who might need a meal and stocked the Stuffed Love refrigerator.

🧊 Cold or frozen items
🍎 Fresh food
📦 Sealed, unopened, unexpired items

We have a refrigerator and freezer on site to help keep food safe.

We are so excited to welcome Buck's Farmstand as a new community partner. Their generosity is already making a difference, helping us fill the refrigerators at the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health, 5522 S. Pulaski with fresh tomatoes and apples for families in need.

Community is about neighbors helping neighbors, and partnerships like this remind us that kindness can be grown, shared, and multiplied.

☀️ Summer Meals & Snacks for Kids 🍎🥪

At Stuffed Love, we believe every child deserves access to healthy, nutritious meals all summer long. When school is out, free meals and snacks are still available through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) at schools, parks, libraries, and community locations across the country.

✅ FREE meals for all children and teens 18 and under
✅ Available throughout the summer at community sites
✅ Some rural communities offer meal pick-up or delivery options
✅ Eligible families may also qualify for Summer EBT benefits
✅ Available to individuals over 18 with disabilities participating in eligible school programs

Please help us spread the word and share this resource with families in your community. Together, we can help ensure that no child goes hungry during summer break. ❤️

En Stuffed Love, creemos que cada niño merece acceso a comidas saludables y nutritivas durante todo el verano. Important News for Illinois Families

Early this morning, the Illinois General Assembly passed the FY27 state budget, which includes $70 million to create the Families Receiving Emergency Support for Hunger — FRESH — program.

FRESH will provide a one-time emergency payment of $400 to Illinois residents who lost SNAP benefits due to new federal rule changes. As many as 175,000 people in Illinois may receive temporary support.

This is an important step, and it will help families buy food, support local grocery stores, and slow the growing demand on food pantries.

But the need is still real.

At Stuffed Love, we continue to see more families needing food, diapers, period products, hygiene items, pet food, and basic essentials.

Please continue to support our drives, donate what you can, and help us keep showing up for our neighbors.

The need in our community continues to grow, and now more than ever, families are turning to Stuffed Love for help. Recent SNAP benefit changes have dramatically increased demand at the Stuffed Love Food Pantry, where we are now serving more than 800 families each day!

Today, two incredible community partnerships kick off to help make a difference:

🧺 Wash Smart Lavanderia Community Giveback Week (June 1–5) Donate 5 pantry or household items to the Stuffed Love Food Pantry at UI Health and receive a FREE $5 LaundryCard from Wash Smart (while supplies last).

❤️ 23rd Ward Alderman Silvana Tabares Donation Drive (June 1–30) Drop off food, diapers, period products, baby items, toiletries, and other essentials at the designated collection locations throughout the month.

Every can of food. Every package of diapers. Every period product. Every act of kindness.

It all matters.

Our pantry shelves, refrigerator, diaper pantry, period pantry, and pet pantry depend on the generosity of people like you. Together, we can ensure our neighbors have access to food, dignity, and hope.
