Candidates must possess basic knowledge of electronics theory, including principles of voltage, current, Ohm's Law, and the essential functions of components such as resistors, capacitors and transistors. Candidates must also be familiar with the use of test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes to perform diagnosis to component level. Specific experience in repair of consumer or professional audio equipment.
