Veterans, cyclists and car enthusiasts gathered in Plainfield on Sunday for the Fifth Annual Ride for the Troops fundraiser, raising over $20,000 for USO Illinois.
Hosted by Webb Chevy Plainfield, the event featured its annual bicycle ride along with the addition of a classic car show, bringing community together for a meaningful cause. Proceeds and donations from the event helped to support active-duty service members and their families.
“Five years in, Ride for the Troops keeps getting bigger and better— and that's because of this community. Seeing over 100 riders, more than 130 classic cars and hundreds of people come out to support our service members and their families, we raised over $20,000 for the USO of Illinois.
