We were proud to partner with DePaul University on their
Summer Investment Challenge (SIC), a 4-day college immersion program for high school students who are interested in careers in finance. This summer, 18 students had an immersive experience of what it’s like to be a finance student living on campus and studying in the heart of Chicago’s finance community. The program culminated culminated with a juried stock pitch competition in front of a panel of professionals. Congrats to these amazing young people!

“We can’t change the weather, nor the small lot sizes found in the city, but we can work to deliver the basic things that will retain and attract Black Chicagoans…”
We are proud to partner with our 2021 Grant Recipient LINK Unlimited Scholars and their fearless leader, Jonathan Swain, who wrote this piece on Chicago’s Black migration trend, its cultural and economic costs, and what we can do to reverse it.
Op-ed: Reversing Chicago’s Black migration trend requires honesty and intentionality Hidden behind this Black migration from Chicago are heavy cultural and economic costs. For years, Chicago’s Black community birthed trends that impacted the entire world.
