Just a quick update on my own layout.
Yes, we are still here ;) A lot of projects, so not much time for social media. Will post the progress of two more new layouts soon.

Bavaria Era III
It's been a while since I posted anything on any platform. I decided to take a break from social media and forums to concentrate fully on the projects I'm working on. Today I too some time to give a litte update, pictures to follow.

Last update on the customers layout for this year. I prepared the foundation for the buildings and started prepping the surface for the lake/river.
Merry Christmas to everyone !

And now the latest state from yesterday 12/02/17. The station building is done ( MBZ ), the customer decided to put a ruin ( From Noch ) on top of the mountain, so I had to extend the foundation. Some more zipping and I installed a self developed circuit for the level crossing control. I use the wheels of the rolling stock for contact, it is direction depending and the crossing signals will shut off after the last car passed the contact.

continuing with 11/25/17, some more weathering, now I'm happy with the look of the portals and the walls. I spray painted the bottom of the layout matte black, that way it's doesn't look so bright in the tunnels. Some zipping was involved as well ;)
I also started the foundation for the first buildings.

Time for some recap, once again...
On 11/18/17 I was zipping a little more, some weathering as well. The first building is done as well, the foundation isn't done yet, so the building doesn't sit right atm. The first bridge, also MBZ, custom made, was installed.
