What an incredible day at the Grand Opening of our new welding space at JARC Baltimore! 🔥⚙️ We are beyond grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting expansion and the future opportunities it will create for our community. Thanks to your support, we are now able to train even more people through our Welding Program and continue creating pathways to life-changing careers.

A very special shout out to Kay, our amazing Welding Director, and Karen-Michelle, JARC Baltimore Site Director, for their leadership, dedication, and hard work in making this vision a reality.

We also want to sincerely thank our funders, Maryland Energy Administration, , and Maryland Department of Labor, whose support made this expansion possible.

Rain didn’t stop the connections being made today at the 2026 Annual Reentry and Resource Fair at The Factory, hosted by the Flowers Whiting Initiative ( )

Stephen Johnson, one of our Community Outreach Specialists, represented Maryland Wellness and connected with community members and partners dedicated to supporting successful reentry and workforce development. He was also glad to see Mary Davis and Ron Brandes from JARC Workforce Training and Development, in attendance.

Thank you to the Flowers Whiting Initiative for hosting this important event and to everyone who came out despite the weather to support resources, opportunities, and stronger community connections.
