Unpatterned LLC is a full service interior design and creative firm founded on the principle that there isn't a singular approach to design (or life). There is no one size fits all. Our process is customized to each client with the consistent goal of assisting in visualizing the end result. Unpatterned does not adhere to a specific style, rather evaluates each project in order to create a space that inherently reflects the personality of the owner or the message they desire to convey. While Unpatterned is in the business of providing luxury design, we strongly believe great design doesn’t have to be a luxury and are committed to adapting to a variety of budgets. Whether your dream piece of furniture comes from a showroom or a thrift store, our purpose is to translate your needs and goals into a functional space that brings joy to each user. We aspire to create inspiring interiors, exciting events, stunning creations, and the occasional guffaw. Unpatterned offers a variety of interior design, decorating, styling and consulting services. Renovations are our happy place. With Carly’s architectural background we are able to analyze the best use of your space, and maximize the possibilities.
We curate options to select and procure all the finishes lighting and fixtures, including cabinetry, tile, hardware, and all the other overwhelming details, no matter how small. Full service design also means project management of vendors, contractors and collaborators as well as finishing touches to make your space complete!

We love collaborating with architects to bring a space to life from the inside out. Two heads are better than one and the same full service design we give to our renovations applies when other architects are involved.

Our full-service projects start with furniture layouts and end with fully prepared entertaining spaces. We handle sourcing, management, and supervision of furniture, rugs, paint/wallcoverings, window treatments, lighting, and accessories. Our design experience ensures the involvement of experts for tasks like adding built-ins, wallpaper, paint, or installing lighting or art. By the end of your project, your rooms will be fully furnished and styled.

We work best comprehensively! But sometimes a handful of rooms deserves our attention. New clients have a two room minimum and require a look at the design of the full room, meaning we don’t work piecemeal because we

Sometimes clients are afraid to let their kids choose a saturated or bright paint color. I’m not. Let’s make this pink work! And while we’re at it, let’s paint some trim teal, too.
My daughter’s room also got a secret nook tucked into the eaves of the roof when we did the rest of our renovation. It’s transformed from a doll hideout into a tween’s lip gloss haven.
