đź—Ł At Working Credit, we remain committed to helping communities build stronger financial futures.
Back in March, Working Credit participated in Aware Fest, a community festival focused on supporting HBCU students and giving back.
Our team spent the day connecting with attendees, sharing information about credit building, and talking about how financial wellness can help create stronger futures for individuals and communities.
We’re proud to support events that bring people together and create opportunities for education, empowerment, and growth.

Though Mother’s Day has passed, we want to continue recognizing the incredible mothers in our community.
This month, we’re proud to spotlight Rasheeda, a mother of two who raised her credit score by 84 points and is now in the process of buying her first home.
With support from Working Credit, Rasheeda built stronger financial habits, stayed disciplined, and kept pushing toward her goals.
“We deserve better than this.”
Congratulations, Rasheeda. We’re proud to support your journey.

đźš© Beware of Credit Repair Scams
Many companies promise to “fix” your credit quickly, but those promises come with hidden risks.
Watch out for these red flags:
đźš© Monthly fees or a large upfront fee before services are provided
đźš© Guaranteed credit score increases
đźš© Claims they can remove any negative information from your credit report
The truth is that rebuilding credit is possible and likely with trusted guidance.
Through the Rebuild Right campaign, organizations are working to help consumers understand how to improve their credit without falling into costly traps.
Share this post to help someone avoid a credit repair scam.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Financial stress can have a real impact on mental health. Concerns about debt, credit, and financial stability can feel overwhelming.
At Working Credit, we support people in building a clearer understanding of their finances and creating a plan that works for them.
When people feel more in control of their financial situation, it can reduce stress and help them move forward with confidence.
Financial health and mental health go hand in hand.

Last month, during Financial Capability Month, we highlighted Bryanne’s story.
After relocating to Arkansas for her role at Tyson Foods, Bryanne connected with Working Credit and set a goal to take control of her finances, pay off debt, and start saving for a home.
With support and consistency, her credit score has increased to 732, and she is just months away from clearing her consumer debt.
“The thought of buying a house doesn’t seem so far-fetched anymore.”
We’re proud to support journeys like Bryanne’s.
