While studying to be a mechanical engineer in college, Amir realized his dream and love of texture and design had stayed with him. He has worked in the retail rug business for over 20 years, and has placed his beautiful masterpieces in homes accross the United States. In 1998 Amir was able to realize his dream by opening his one of a kind store, Direct Rug Import. Now he could share his passion and devotion to the art of design and texture in these beautiful handmade rugs with others. There are small to large, round, oval or long and narrow; any kind of rug that you could want. You can choose designs and colors of your choice and have a rug made specifically for you. Amir is dedicated to offering the best service along with his knowledge of the making of area rugs. He wants each individual to be pleased with their purchase as it will last many, many years.
