To Our Customers:
After 73 years on the corner of 111th & Talman, my brother Jim and I have decided to retire.
Growing up on 109th Street, attending St. Cajetan church and school, and working to make our business grow, we have great memories and give grateful thanks for the opportunity to serve our neighbors and our community.
Any success we may have had is due to the devoted Kean Team members past and present, to the loyalty of our customers, and to your recognition of the importance of “buying local.” We wish to thank Alderman Matt O’Shea for his strong support of our efforts, the brave men and women of the Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department, and the local schools for working with us in the Manna Program.
We hope you will welcome Kishore Matthew as he brings his experience in the gas business to our corner. He plans to hoist the “Shell” banner in the near future and will bring a fresh new look to the corner. Kean Gift Certificates and Manna Certificates will continue to be honored.
As we look to the future, we hope we have served you well and have earned your trust over these many years. It has been our great privilege to be a part of our great neighborhood.
