Do you know someone that has type 1 diabetes and celiac? We have someone who is interested in meeting someone else that has both conditions. Thank you.
We just connected two T1D female adults living in Chicago!
We just connected a family with a 7 year old type 1 that was diagnosed last week with another type 1 family in the same area!
Thank you to everyone that came to our sports event yesterday at Supreme Courts! It was a huge success! Thank you to our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and silent auction donors! We appreciate everyone supporting our great cause!

Community Post: The 25 Most Awkward Times To Be A Type 1 Diabetic Where did you find that test strip?
I just heard from another Jimmy Insulin Family member:
· What did JI provide that your doctors couldn't provide?
o “JI provided comfort to let me know that I wasn't alone with any struggles that I had and support to continue to better myself and my health.”
· Would you recommend JI to others touched by diabetes?
o Yes, having a support system makes having diabetes that much easier. Jimmy Insulin has given me support to better monitor my sugars, and it keeps me motivated to keep my A1c down.
Please connect us with anyone you know touched by diabetes!
Just heard from one of our newest mentees and wanted to share his feedback. He made a couple of powerful comments, "My mentor was not only aspiring, but also very knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions for me. I felt much better about being diagnosed with diabetes after talking to him." Also, when asked, "What did Jimmy Insulin provide that your doctors couldn't?" He answered. "Real answers from people who actually have diabetes. As you know, you don't really know what's it's like unless you have diabetes." This is why we do what we do at Jimmy Insulin.
