Last week, our clients kicked off their Compound Combine series in Jersey City, the first in a new series of nationwide events. The Compound Combine brings financial education to life for families through football combine-style drills that show why investing early matters. 🏈
To support the event, VSA developed the landing page and helped with event branding, and some team members even made their way to Jersey City to help finalize the installation (and share it with their kids).

🥈We’re thrilled to share that ! Our campaign “Keep It Real,” created in partnership with McAfee, won Silver in two categories at this year’s Chicago ADDY awards. The campaign launched last spring and used humor and some especially scammy-looking AI slop to increase the brand’s perception and consideration among Gen Z consumers.
For almost 65 years, the American Advertising Awards has recognized creative excellence in advertising at the local, regional and national levels. We’re grateful to the Chicago Ad Federation for the honor at this year’s competition and to be recognized alongside so many iconic Chicago agencies.

Last week, we shared a POV from our very own Liz Murnin that highlights the benefits of employee engagement and how you can craft a program to activate your employees as ambassadors for your brand. (Check it out at the link in our bio if you haven’t read it yet!) This week, we’re revisiting a campaign that puts those steps into action.
When Google needed help persuading customers to make the switch from iPhone to Pixel, we targeted the people with direct influence over the sale: retail employees. To creatively engage, educate and motivate retail sales associates (RSAs) in big-box stores, we designed the Ph.G program.
At the core of the creative was a desire to equip RSAs with the information they need in a memorable, hands-on way. To activate the program, we designed a suite of educational content and design, paired with exclusive swag items, training modules and an interactive training kit. Each component was created to help spark excitement and deepen understanding of the new Google ecosystem.

New logo, new look, new award. 🥈We’re honored to share that VSA won Silver at this year’s Graphis design for our logo redesign for .
Since 1944, has celebrated excellence in design and its global competition celebrates groundbreaking design in order to document important contributions to the field, and to inspire the next generation of designers.
As BNY approached its 240th anniversary, it partnered with VSA to launch a new brand identity and logo that reflects who BNY is today and where it is going. Together, the brand identity and updated logo work in tandem to reshape BNY’s perception in the market by creating a cohesive and compelling brand story. BNY today is more visible, bold, and scalable—reflecting the dynamic nature of BNY itself.

In an updated case study live on our website, we’re diving into our twenty-year relationship with CME Group to showcase how we transformed the brand’s 150-year legacy as a trading exchange into a new role as a leader in finance.
From brand strategy to website design and employee engagement to event marketing, VSA imbued this leadership lens into a variety of digital and physical touchpoints to clearly signal CME Group’s evolved role in finance.

VSA’s Design4Better is back with a brand new installment!
Introducing Seattle Mutiny, our name and identity proposal for the Professional Women’s Hockey League Seattle () team. 👋
At the end of the 2024–25 season, the PWHL announced the addition of its Seattle franchise. While this expansion team is still unnamed, we couldn’t wait to welcome the team to the community.
A few things you’ll notice:
✨ ‘Mutiny’ hooked us—it’s fierce, exciting, and a seaworthy complement to the Seattle Kraken. Plus, bonus points for fans being able to call themselves the Mutineers.
✨ The new identity uses the team’s existing cream and emerald green colors but progresses the brand with bright sea green and a vibrant orange accent.
✨ Our dynamic logo gives Seattle’s iconic Space Needle an edge by combining it with a pirate’s sword.

Really happy to introduce “The Touch Advantage” to the world with our client . Written and designed by VSA, this book is for anyone who has ever geeked out over beautiful packaging.
Sappi partnered with to explore how touch affects purchasing decisions, brand perception, and customer satisfaction. The book includes empirical data from their study and actionable strategies for brands looking to better connect with their consumers during the packaging experience.
