The Chicago Chapter of the American Alpine Club exists to bring Chicago climbers together in celebration of the community's passion for climbing.
The American Alpine Club Chicago Chapter was founded Autumn of 2016 by Avi Rubinsky, Myung-Jin Oh, and Savannah Buik. Savannah originally had the idea of founding the chapter after previously volunteering with the Southeast chapter, and the exponentially growing climbing community in Chicago contributed to her inspiration. The AAC is brining the Women's Adventure Film Tour to Chicago at both of the major gym chains! We have prizes to raffle off and will be showing different films at each location. Happy Women's Month!
March 13th, 7:30pm @ Movement, Lincoln Park
-- $20 for entry, free for gym members.
-- Located in Mvmt's yoga room on the top floor.
-- Seats are limited, but plenty of yoga mats.
March 27th, 7:30pm @ First Ascent, Avondale
-- $18 for entry, free for gym members.
-- Located in FA's community room.
