Two days ago, I was gifted these ferns. Until I picked them up, I didn't realize how large the larger of the two was. It was gargantuan and filled up the entire trunk of my Toyota Rav4!

When I got it home, I had no idea where I was going to put such a large plant! But today, I found a spot for my newest beast and its little brother.

I love my new indoor cafe space and how the giant fern fills my bay window. For plant size reference, that window is 4 feet wide!

Here's a teaser of what we've been working on this week. The last time we had a radical living room transformation was in January when we turned our home into our surprise livestreamed micro wedding venue! Now that we have to bring our plants inside, it's time for another change! We'll show a video reveal in a week or so when the space has been completed.

Over the next week, I'll be focusing on cleaning up my office and dressing room closet. Because these two rooms serve multiple purposes, it's been difficult to get them to serve any purpose well. It's a lot like that saying, "Jack of all trades, master of none." Today, I started by adding in some privacy film to the window in the dressing room so that I can finally take advantage of the natural light from this window. What a difference already!

I love this MCM plant stand so much and I'm so happy that it has found a loving home! Additionally, I love working directly with clients to finish a product. Had I worked on this piece for a general sale, I would have put a new brass finish on it to appeal to the most buyers. However, because I was able to work directly with the buyer, we agreed to only do a wire brush clean so that the natural aged brass patina would remain. It turned out beautifully and we have another happy client!

Mark will add the real magic to the mantle later. But, I'm honestly just so excited that we've finally hung artwork in our master bedroom! Ha!

On a different note, can't wait to show all of you the reveal of our guest room very soon! I'm calling the design style, "rustic elegance."

Daylight savings time transition has been difficult today. We're working on making our guest bedroom more functional and it took me 2.5 hours to build this desk! Ha! I'm not sure how long I thought it would take, but I didn't expect to blow my Sunday evening on this. Stay tuned for the reveal later this week!
