SouthWind Events is an event planning and production service that started south of the Windy City (Chicago). We have since grown and now serve the entire Chicagoland area, or wherever you need us. We are here to plan, coordinate and execute all your special events - weddings, birthdays, receptions, baby showers, etc. We are also here to serve all your professional event needs in planning your conferences, retreats, or other such events. Whatever the event, we are here to serve you.

Two years later...
And somehow, it still feels easy to remember the feeling of this day.
Jess & John created a celebration that felt warm, grounded, and completely reflective of who they are, surrounded by the people who mattered most and fully present in every part of it.
That’s the part we always come back to.
Not just how beautiful it looked, but how naturally the day unfolded, how much joy filled the room, and how deeply loved they were by everyone around them.

Blair & Nate’s day balanced classic nautical elements with a more elevated, refined feel, deep blues, warm golds, layered textures, and details that felt thoughtful without trying too hard.
Nothing overwhelming or overly themed.

Three years later.
What stays with us most is never just the wedding day itself; it’s knowing these moments became the beginning of something lasting.

Seven years.
Since Thomas & Ciara Boatner promised forever, surrounded by the people who knew them best.
Even now, years later, there’s something meaningful about looking back on where it all began.
