Life With Grams

My goal for 2026 was to post more. Life can be so overwhelming things that seem as simple as posting some photos on Instagram can be an item I never check off my to do list. But these photos truly deserve to be seen & celebrated.

Our photographer came across our TikTok & gifted us an incredible photo session! I cherish every picture I take with Grams but this experience was extra special. It was a few days before Grams birthday & I am so grateful it all worked out.

And don’t live with regret, take more photos.

January started out rough. After the Holidays things can feel dark. I was burnt out! Not just on caregiving but EVERYTHING. I took some time to focus on me & Grams. So grateful to have celebrated her 88th birthday even if it didn’t go as planned. By the end of the month we were back to chasing the light.

Mary Kris-mas! This years Christmas tree theme was “Memories of Halloween Past” & I love it. Grams does too.

And since I never shared this years Halloween costumes on the timeline enjoy the HalloweeK 2025 recap.

Thanksgiving was about two weeks ago, it was our goodbye to Chicago for the winter & as sad as it is to say see you later, we made the best of our time & had a beautiful day.

Thanksgiving was one of Grams favorite holidays. Being able to gather round, enjoy each others company with food to share & memories to make. There was no gifts or stress, just love. And there is truly nothing my Grandma enjoys more than spending time with her grandkids & great grandkids.

I’m really terrible at social media posting. I keep forgetting to post so here’s our November photo dump a month late. December dump & year end review will prolly come sometime in January.

Everyone’s getting in the holiday spirit and I am still dreaming of the Nightmare before! The 13 Nights of Halloween was so much fun & my favorite time of year. I had to share some of these photos. What was your favorite costume?

Well just realized November is almost over & I never posted my October photo dump. Grams wasn’t feeling her best most days but we still made most of our days. This is part one.
