Zeiss Super Speed 35mm
‘Feast is a film about body dysmorphia, which, to me, is a topic that requires careful attention to lensing. Any character inherent to the optics of the glass would be applied to the actor – so we had to navigate when and how feelings of self-hallucination – or euphoria – would occur. What makes the Zeiss Super Speeds so essential to a project like this is that they are part of this tradition of cinematic language we all understand, while having a lot of character that doesn’t take audiences out of the story, or say something unwanted about body image.”

Zeiss Super Speed 25mm
‘I found myself drawn to the 25mm lens time and time again. It’s minimal of distortion makes it a versatile tool for close-ups or wides, and it has an impressive amount of character when stopped down to T2 or T2.8. This allowed us to better control highlights, peer out windows, and create wide tableaus that avoided sterility and were full of emotion. These lenses sing throughout the aperture range – there is a lot to love in a Super Speed even when it isn’t wide open.

Zeiss Standard Speed 135mm
‘The rehoused 135 was a delight – it helped us create one of the most striking images from our shoot, where we had to restrict what the audience could and could not see. Being able to play up and down the whole set of six-lens set gave our little indie a ton of freedom and storytelling ability. Being able to go from 18mm to 135mm, have the vintage attributes, Zeiss optical engineering, and a modern housing match all the way through the focal lengths, meant every single piece of glass could be your workhorse.’

New at Eleven04 the NATO Pivot Balancer.

Anyone who works with an Easyrig knows that a perfectly balanced camera makes all the difference. The NATO Pivot Balancer gives operators a fast, tool-free way to fine-tune balance using a pivoting arm and sliding NATO rail, making it easy to adapt to changing builds on set.

Whether you’re running a lightweight FX3 package or a fully rigged Alexa35, the adjustable design and multiple mounting positions help keep the camera balanced and comfortable throughout the day.

New at Eleven04 the Horizon Monitor Mount Kit. Designed for the kind of monitor moves operators make all day.

The Horizon arm lets you move the monitor above or to the side of the camera while keeping it level, with 16 quick-locking positions. Paired with the 3-axis monitor mount, you get pan, tilt, and roll without constantly loosening k***s or fighting awkward monitor angles.

Great for operators moving between handheld, tripod, low-mode, tight spaces, or any setup where the monitor needs to shift quickly without slowing down the build.

Love Super Speeds but hate the housing. Fixed!
Our new set of rehoused Zeiss Super Speed lenses are here. E04’s set includes an 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and paired with a 135mm Zeiss Standard Speed lens to round out a true 6-lens kit thats ready for your next project.
These lenses have been a staple on Hollywood blockbusters for decades for a reason. Fast, compact, sharp and full of character. With beautiful micro-contrast, gentle highlight roll-off, and separation that feels dimensional rather than clinical. It’s a look that cannot be replicated, modern lenses often chase it, but there’s something about the original coatings and optical design that stands apart.
Rehoused by True Lens Services, this set brings modern mechanics to legendary glass: Consistent fronts for matte box use Smooth, reliable focus and iris Proper witness marks your AC can trust No more fighting worn housings or mismatched builds
And yes, the triangle bokeh is gone. What you’re left with is a cleaner, more refined image while still keeping the soul of the Super Speed look. If you’ve ever wanted to shoot on Super Speeds without dealing with the usual headaches… this is that set.

Small lenses. Big character. We just added the M 0.8 Lens Series to the Eleven04 lineup. Originally designed as Leica M photography lenses, these optics were cinemodded by Leitz to be a lightweight cinema lens with 0.8 focus/iris rings keeping the small footprint that made M lenses famous.

What makes them special isn’t just the size, it’s the way they render an image. Wide open, they hold fine details with a gentle focus rolloff, rounded highlights, natural softened backgrounds, and subjects separate without feeling artificially sharp. Because these lenses are so compact, they open up possibilities for intimate camera placements that are hard with larger cinema glass. Making gimbals, handheld builds, drones, car rigs, tight interior a breeze. Sometimes the best lens is the one that lets you put the camera somewhere new.
