Wondering how to make that perfect round challah?!? Check out the video πŸŽπŸ―πŸŽπŸ―πŸŽπŸ―πŸŽπŸ―πŸŽπŸ―πŸ˜‰πŸ―πŸ˜‰

round challah for Rosh Hashana- 4 round braided challah
Start with your delicious bubbly yeast, (let it sit for 7min with your Luke warm water)... add your flour sugar oil and mix. Let it rise 50 someplace warm. Dump out the dough on your counter. Roll it out to a log. Cut 1pound 3oz pieces. Then take that piece and cut it into 4 strips. It’s kind of like a basket weave. You start braiding to the left side first. Then to the right. Then to the left. Then tuck in all the rest of the loose ends. Spray a round tall 8” foil pan and drop the ready braided challah in it. Let rise for 50-60 min β€” lightly brush with egg wash. Gentle so not to burst the challah β€œbubbles”. Bake for 350 for 25-30 min. You can check your challah by unfolding it for a second. Check the bottom of the challah, if it’s still white, put it back in the pan and bake 5more min. Have fun! Enjoy!!
