Hugo Tea Space is a modern specialty tea café in the heart of Bucktown, Chicago.
Sit with us for a casual rendition of the gongfu session (the way tea is enjoyed in teahouses from Kunming to Kyoto) as our tea tenders guide you through several steepings of tea. Choose from a small menu of the season's best sourcing efforts from our small roster of tea producers. Cold brewed tea, fresh-whisked matcha, and signature tea drinks (including elevated renditions of house-steeped chai and matcha lattes) are available to-go. Loose leaf teas (by the gram or box), cold-stored matcha, and tea wares from studio potters line our shelves to elevate your tea practice at home.
