One of our clients, an Automotive Parts Manufacturing plant, is looking for an Engineering Services Attendant. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and pays $17+ per hour based on related skills and experience.
Summary of Responsibilities:
•Distribute tool kits to the production lines.
•Replenish spent tool kits or build new tool kits to service production lines.
•Pre-build tool kits for distribution on weekends per the production schedule.
•Sort used inserts, taps, and broaches for sharpening or reclamation.
•Pack used drills for re-sharpening twice a week shipments.
•Prepare deburr tools to be sent for re-sharpening.
•Arrange shipments for broach re-sharpening and tool reclamation with the shipping department supervisor.
•Support for purchase forging die material and create production schedule for die production.
•Support for inventory control of forging die material and finished forging dies.
•Daily interaction with Operators, CNC Technicians, Technical Manager and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure tooling issues are communicated to all affected.
•Monitor the incoming package delivery shelf and alert Engineering staff of packages remaining more than a week on the shelf.
•Empty trash containers in the tool crib and keep the floor and area clean

This position is second shift and requires knowledge and understanding of basic mechanics and automotive systems. Skills with common machining, measuring equipment and small machining fabrication are also needed.

Summary of Duties:
The shipping and receiving worker is responsible for the packing, shipping, receiving and other related tasks for timing handling and delivery of products. The duties are as follows:
•Receive and pack parts according to packaging standards.
•Receive, prepare and handles orders received from Sales department for the customer.
•Ship orders according to standard procedure.
•Maintain records and documents related to orders.
•Use hand and powered equipment to move product and raw materials on the floor
•Use hand and powered equipment to load/unload product and raw material on/off trucks.
