What happens when Math Kangaroo goes LIVE? 🚀✨

We’re thrilled to team up with LIVE by Po-Shen Loh to bring competition math to life in a fun, highly interactive online session! 🧠💡

Students will tackle challenging problems, share creative ideas, try new strategies, and discover that math is about so much more than just getting the right answer. Guided by enthusiastic LIVE Math Stars, every session is a space to think, explore, laugh, and solve alongside peers from across the country.

How do you encourage step-by-step logical thinking in your teams or classrooms?

to hands-down the most unforgettable part of my summer—the Math Kangaroo Asia Camp in Boao, Hainan Island! 🌴🧠✨

With over 1,000 campers from around the world, every day was packed with energy. From cracking Sudoku and Rubik’s Cubes at the Math Carnival to the Math Bazaar, Gala Party, and a spectacular Drone Show, there was never a dull moment. (And of course, hanging out by the pool with new friends made it even better! 🏊‍♀️)

The competition itself was intense! I was thrilled to take 2nd Place in my grade for the Individual Round. But the real highlight was the team events—especially the Guts Round, where live scoreboard updates kept the pressure at an all-time high. Thanks to incredible teamwork (and a little luck!), we won 1st Place in both the Team and Guts Rounds, taking home Overall 1st Place! 🏆 🎉

To top it all off, we explored Sanya afterwards—hiking the Yanoda Tropical Rainforest and seeing the breathtaking 108-meter Nanhai Guanyin statue rising right out of the sea. 🌊

A huge thank you to Math Kangaroo for this experience. Connecting with fellow math lovers from around the globe, sharing strategies, and building lifelong friendships is something I’ll treasure forever! ❤️
