Going back into my old hood, Back of the Yards, to spin some tunes tonight for Gilberto Castro's b-day event at SomosMonos Cervecería. Great lineup of live music and DJs, and it's FREE!

Yeah, THAT Martin Atkins (Ministry, Killing Joke, Pigface, etc) is djing with us. Do it!

I was one of the first DJs in Chicago to drop Cut Copy at parties back in 2004-2005. We played the hell out them at our Dark Wave Disco events. Fast forward 20 years, I still spin their stuff in my sets.

This Sunday, Greg Corner and I will be djing for their show at Ramova Theatre. Really looking forward to this one. Their new stuff is great!

Saturday, I'll be spinning at Subterranean for this event. I'd say this is part of the Dark Wave Disco 20-year anniversary since Greg Corner and I will be spinning a lot of the DWD classics from Cut Copy, Phoenix, MSTRKRFT, Empire of the Sun, Digitalism, YYY's...you get the picture! This is gonna be a fun one.

Kicking the night off at Subterranean for D.A.N.C.E: A Blog Haus Nite. Will be spinning all the Dark Wave Disco era jams from Soulwax, Cut Copy, Felix Da Housecat, Vitalic, Presets, etc.

Then I'm off to Pilsen for the Scramble Waves 3 event at the Fallout. Doing a B2B with Eddie Riot. This one is gonna get a little techno-industrial-y! :)
