We at Lemon are incredible grateful for the opportunities that allow us to step out from behind our little citrus bar and showcase what we do in other spaces

And we've been OUT. Here are some highlights of the summer & where our team got to travel to!

• 1,2- Krista and Jeremy at Mister Paradise with Lady Jane and Real de Valle hosting a "Real Housewives of Paradise" Pop up

• 3, 4- Press Club in Washinton DC hosted Uli and Jeremy

• 5,6 - Matchbook Distilling Co. Invited Zak and Jeremy to their facility in Greenport, NY to learn about their operations with perhaps a special Lemon release coming out 👀

• 7,8 - Sam and Jeremy got to take over Bar Crenn in San Francisco

• 9 - Jeremy at the Chicago Cocktail Classic throwing it down

• 10,11 - At Taste of a Nation, Kevin and Zak serving a special Old Forester cocktail with proceeds going to No Kid Hungry.

• 12,13 - Lemon during Tales of the Cocktail popped up with some other great Chicago bars at Hungry Eyes in NOLA for the "Windy City Take Over"

An eclectic group of Chicago musicians weave a vibrant tapestry of lush soundscapes, wild rhythms and big vibes.

FRIDAY 8/7: THIRD WAVE
Chicago’s “Third Wave” is the sound of Trip Hop, Jazz, and Neo Soul colliding raw, hypnotic, and completely their own. The vibe is organic, soulful, and driven. 

Eddie Matthews on synthed-out sax, dannygfelix on key synths and Mac Ramsey on beats.

RIND is an amalgamation of various local artists, performers, songwriters and musicians drawing from their own individual characteristics to create a truly unique experience.

The group continuously pushes the boundaries of music to blend genres into a wild mix of movements. From lush, ambient soundscapes to manic rhythms and through rich vocals and unwavering groove influenced by sounds from around the globe they create a collaborative, eclectic and engaging night of music.

They seek to fight the darkness in this world with unabashed joy and rhythm while shining a light on injustices the world over.

When she isn't sitting inside with the AC with her two cats, you can catch her drinking a vermouth or sherry with olives & a twist at Cara Cara Club.

Our Latin Jazz jam returns — every third Tuesday! Percussionist Andres Lopez has put together an amazing house band to lead us in a jam exploring the various genres of Latin jazz.

THURSDAY 7/23: DAIQS AND DOGS
Our patio is officially DOG FRIENDLY — so we’re hosting a dog meet-up party!

We’ll have various fun daiquiris from Giffard Liqueurs & Syrups and Worthy Park Estate of which a portion of the proceeds will go to PAWS Chicago

There might even be a hot dog eating contest 🫣

The Madness is a Chicago-based collective led by Michael J. Pineda and is dedicated to creating a
multi-genre, multi-instrumental, and multi-message experience.

Playing mostly originals, the band brings a fresh set of sounds and grooves to any stage that will leave the audience dancing, thinking, and appreciating life through good and hard times.

The Madness reflects the love and light in all of us.

The air quality is really not too good today.. in fact kinda dangerous— especially for dogs 🐶

So we decided to postpone our daiquiri drinking, hot dog eating, puppy dog petting patio party to next week 7/23! It’ll be even better cause we will (hopefully) all be able to breathe.

BUT

The show must go on! The AC is cranking, the music is hot and the whiskey is flowing tonight with live music from Wicked Drawl and Bobcat Boys

We got drink specials from Old Forester and of course DJ Mat Thies keeping it cool with some old school country western vinyl 🤠
