Description: Join CityStep Penn on April 25th for our Spring 2026 Show: ELEMENTS as our CitySteppers from Mitchell Elementary, Southwest Leadership Academy, and B.B Comegys gather on stage to walk you through the fundamental elements that shape who we are—earth, fire, water, and air. Through dance, interpretive movement, skits, and videos, our performers will explore how energy can be grounded like earth, fluid like water, expansive like air, powerful like fire, as well as how all these qualities live within all of us at different moments and how when these elements combine they create something greater than themselves.

We’re still feeling the joy from the CityStep Gala last weekend in New York City! 🥂🪩 🎉 We mingled and cheered honorees Bill Rauch and Amy Sloane-Pinel at a swanky cocktail party overlooking Manhattan and then hooted and hollered at the Broadway sensation, Cats: The Jellicle Ball. Guests were also thrilled to be able to learn some moves from the show’s co-choreographer Omari Wiles. The show’s co-director Bill Rauch will be the recipient of the Harvard Arts Medal in May.

We remain beyond grateful to all our supporters and friends for backing us so generously as we work to bring the CityStep experience of creativity and connection to more kids in more cities!

It's been a year of growth and expansion: CityStep UChicago, just one year old, has expanded to three local schools; CityStep Brown is in its pilot year; and CityStep companies at other colleges continued to inspire children in Philadelphia, New Haven, New York and Cambridge. We have deepened and expanded our programming, but our resources have not kept pace with the demand.
