Back to editing. Told myself in had to get this WIP edited before I start writing the sequel and spinoffs. So here I go. Got my paper edit copy, got my grammarly, and got my … wait …where did my whiskey go?

Been incognito as I finished the novel and worked on submitting it. Now just gonna sit back and let the replies fill my inbox … over the next few months 😅 with things like “Thanks but we won’t be offering representation” and “It’s not a good fit” and “Not interested at this time.” But that’s okay cause I have another WIP to finish and 85 more to start to keep my mind off this one.😱

Spent the day working on my WIP, wel one of them anyway. Not sure what round of editing I’m on now but got through fifty pages today, so woohoo.

Every book I have ever written ends up getting a new character during editing. Anybody else have this problem?

Just finished this round of editing. I’m supposed to condense, but ended up with over 13,000 more words. Whoops😜.

Trying to get some editing done. The more honest the feedback is can sometimes seem brutal. Not for me. Just helps me write better. still … that “extensively” cut me deep🤣

Work has got the best of me for a while now, been editing quietly in the background… slowly… very slowly. Have some free time with a four day weekend, so going to try and hit the editing pretty hard, and with that, will definitely need something to kill the pain of editing …. And so I introduce my friend, Pistachio Cream Ale. Cheers🍺
