Attention on Deck! It’s time for a Mote March!

Join No Salt Sailing’s Veterans Navigating Adversity Pub Crawl!

We’re stepping off on the first official weekend of summer with a leisurely pub crawl through the Ravenswood neighborhood, sure to be a blast!

**Date:** June 22, 2024
**Time:** 9:00 AM sharp (we mean it, don’t be late or you’ll miss the boat!)
**Location:** Montrose Harbor

**What’s the mission?**
Starting at Montrose Harbor, navigate your way through Ravenswood, commandeering 5 local pubs, sipping on 5 refreshing pints, and finishing with a yummy lunch at the last stop.

**Entertainment:** Besides your hilarious friends? Well, there are sandwiches at the end, and not your average sandwich either, so that’s something.

**Pro tip:** Hydrate like a pro! Bring water – beer doesn’t count as hydration.

**Cost:** Only $20 for 5 pints and lunch! That’s cheaper than the Value Menu at McDonald’s.

**Why join?**
Because it’s for a great cause – supporting No Salt Sailing. And let’s be honest, you could use a good walk and some laughs.

**Ready to join the fun?**
Register here and prepare to laugh, drink, and navigate your way through a fun-filled day. Expect lots of hilarity, goofiness, and debauchery. Your liver might not thank you, but your sense of adventure will!

Calling all Marines…
The Post Commander of American Legion Post 973, The Tattler is opening the doors at 1800 and is pouring shots for any Marines who attend the unannounced and unplanned Marine Corps Birthday last minute after thought celebration. It has been a very long time since I’ve opened this page but for very good reasons.

For my first post in a while, let you me j traduce you to a non-profit I am currently working with:

No Salt Sailing, a Veteran program centered around sailing, has been a lifeline for my mental health, providing therapeutic relief for my PTSD and TBI. Beyond the calming effect sailing offers I've found a profound supportive group of fellow Veterans who understand the challenges I face, fostering continuous and meaningful bonds. No Salt Sailing offers vital lessons in resilience and adaptability, while emphasizing the value of continued education. Sailing is not just a hobby; it's a holistic approach to healing, offering hope, unity, and a renewed sense of purpose to disabled Veterans like me.

Kindly share this information in your feeds and please come out and see us on 10/14✌️
