Day 28: Check out this little guy I whipped up! I'd like to add a few embellishments, but I think he's a cutie as-is. This hanger is really quick to make and uses minimal materials, making it a great low-cost option. Hoping to have a series of them added to my shop soon!

Day 27: Trying out some untraditional bonsai with an avocado plant! I wonder if it will stay like this 🤔
Would you buy something like this?

Day 25: Feeling floral! These are a new design that I'm hoping to have finished for Mother's Day 💐

Day 23: I've played around with using yarn in my designs. This is a basic gathering knot, using yarn as an accent on a piece.
Yarn can be challenging to work with because it's thinner and more easily prone to knotting. However, yarn comes in a larger variety of colors and textures, making it an enticing material to incorporate.

Day 22: I've missed a few days 😔 i truly applaud the creators that can keep up with daily posting, this is tough.
This design is a variation of a square knot. Square knots are quintessential in macrame; once you know what they look like, you'll see them everywhere. The variation here is the difference in colors. By using two different cords for the knot, one creates a border, the other creates the inside lining.
I'm hoping to make a series of these! Would you scoop one up?

Day 19: Trying out an extension for my macrame hangers
Measuring the right amount of cord for a project is one of the most challenging parts of macrame. It's not uncommon to run out of cord before a project is complete or have too much wasted at the end. While I always find a use for my scraps, getting the right length is ideal. To keep waste minimal, I typically create hangers that are 3ft in length.
Sometimes, 3ft isn't the right length for your space. Enter: Hanger Extensions! Each extension would range from 1/2ft to 2ft, with a loop at the bottom to attach to your existing hanger. Made in a variety of designs, you can mix and match patterns and length to create a custom hanger that's fits your room exactly.
This concept is still on the drawing board ✏️ and I'd love to hear your feedback and ideas! 💡

Day 17: Allow me to introduce: Hypotenuse
The hypotenuse is the longest side of a triangle, opposite the right angle. The diagonal weave of this hanger inspired this name. Each of its colors are hand-dyed by me. It's a challenging pattern, simply because it requires such long cord. This one of a kind piece is available in my shop! Link in bio 🔗
