We’re honored that Doug Durbin and Anna Laska of nuHaus have been recognized as 2026 Midwest Regional Kitchen Design Contest Winners by Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Midwest.

This project has a special full-circle story: nuHaus was originally tasked with designing this home’s interior for a previous owner in the late 1990s. Decades later, the kitchen was reimagined for modern living- with a larger kitchen, improved pantry function, open connections to the dining and living areas, and expansive lake views.
