Romans 12:2 teaches that we can and should discern God’s “good, pleasing and perfect will.” Selah periods of our lives present ideal times to practice discernment. The Personal Compass (adapted from The Discerning Heart by Wilkie Au and Noreen Cannon Au) is a tool using the metaphor of a compass in order to locate ourselves and the cardinal directions of our lives in God. Set aside some time this summer to explore this tool for discernment. Feel free to share this with (or do this with) a friend!
