π On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was. π
I swear - every time I feel like I have the space to get back into a regular posting routine, it turns out I'm not.
And I'm letting myself be okay with that.
I think I used to compare my posting cadence too much to others, but in reality, everyone's life is different.
We all have different goals, priorities, complexities, etc.
Comparison is the thief of joy.
Remember not to allow yourself to be robbed of your happiness and just do you. π₯°

I learned something new from my therapist that made me really happy!
Some background: I'm horrible at meditating. Like, the worst. I tell myself to sit down and really give it a shot, then I find my mind wandering. I try to let the thoughts go and focus on my breathing. After a few minutes of doing this over and over, I basically get bored and give up.
Well, I recently started taking ceramics classes over the summer and I. LOVE. IT. These classes make me feel so relaxed and keep me "in the moment" - something I usually struggle with. I told my therapist about the classes because of how much I'm enjoying them and she told me something I wasn't expecting - ceramics is a form of meditation! For weeks I had been practicing a form of mediation and had no idea!
Turns out there are LOADS of other activities that are similar to mediation! Coloring, walking, horseback riding, yoga, swimming, dancing - even drumming - are all alternative options to meditation that provide similar benefits! So, if you're meditation-ally challenged like myself, you may want to try one of these practices!
Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone else because this was such a revelation for me! π On to the skincare...

This prebiotic overnight sleeping cream makes my skin feel SUPER soft. It's so nourishing and is great for replenishing moisture overnight. It's not too thick, which makes it a fantastic night cream for warmer months. It also smells INCREDIBLE! I have no idea how to describe the scent... it's a not-too-sweet and subtle fruit-like smell. Whatever it is - IT'S GOOD!
