I upcycled this gown using a heavy, patterned curtain I found at a thrift store, drawn to its rich texture and dramatic drape. After carefully unpicking the lining, I cut the largest uninterrupted panels for the bodice and skirt to showcase the ornate design. The structured curtain fabric gave natural shape, so minimal interfacing was needed. I reshaped the remaining sections into a fitted silhouette with a high slit for movement. Vintage-style chains and jewelry were added to elevate it from home décor to statement eveningwear, turning forgotten fabric into a one-of-a-kind couture piece.
