Christmas Party Gift Drive | Urban Life Skills 10/29/2015

Christmas is just around the corner and we are busy planning for our 8th annual Urban Life Skills Program Christmas Party! We will have over 80 families totaling over 400 people come together for 2 evenings of celebration, food, Christmas gifts, games, and more.

We are looking for partners to help make this evening happen. To pull these events off it takes ALOT of resources, volunteers, and planning. Would you help us by sponsoring a toy, part of the meal, or a family gift basket? If you'd like your church or business to get involved we can help facilitate a Christmas drive for you.Don't miss out on this opportunity to be a blessing to the youth in Little Village this Christmas.

Way to go Epifanio Diaz and of course all the youth of Running Forward! Running the Chicago marathon to raise money for the amazing running program here at ULS. Let's get his last slots filled up for sponsoring the marathon!

Just received word that someone sponsored the 26th mile. Historically this has been the most treacherous mile of all. This gives me more of a incentive to finish strong. Thank you for your contribution. I am looking for 2 people to sponsor mile 9 and 10 by the end of this weekend. Can we make it happen?

The Little Village Summer Softball League needs your help! Every year since 2009 we've been working with hundreds of youth and young adults in the community in order to promote peace and provide positive alternatives to gang activity and substance abuse.

We need to raise $10,000 to make this league possible in order to cover the costs of team t-shirts, field rental fees, softball equipment, umpires, food and league awards. Contribution of $500 or greater will have your logo/name added to all league shirts as a way to show our appreciation for helping make this league possible.

The Case for Restorative Justice Restorative justice has the capacity to empower those who have not been empowered in the past. Individuals and communities begin to act collectively, which is necessary in order to challenge the punitive structures that keep our young black and brown...
