Music reaches what words cannot.
It supports emotional release, calms the nervous system, and creates space for reflection and clarity. It can help you process, reset, and reconnect with yourself.
Live music adds a shared energy. What’s given and received in the moment creates connection, making the experience both grounding and uplifting.
Special thank you to gifted vocalist Andrea for sharing her voice at Living Canvas, bringing a layer of beauty and calm to the atmosphere.
Recap.
The Living Canvas, an immersive creative experience where art, music, and reflection meet.
It is a space to express, release, and connect—individually and collectively.
Come as you are. Create as you feel.

During a Living Canvas moment with Restorative Expressive Arts Corp (REAC), where art becomes a shared language, reflection became a collective practice.
Through simple materials and guided intention, participants named who they are choosing to be. Some used words. Some used symbols. Each stone became a personal declaration held within community.
This is one of the many ways the arts support healing, clarity, and connection. Creative expression opens space for voices to emerge, be witnessed, and be honored, together.
Living Canvas is not just an event. It is a communal experience rooted in presence, creativity, and care.
More to come.

Many small nonprofits in disinvested communities face barriers to funding and lack access to networking and resources. The Chicago BridgeBuilders Fund is United Way’s response. We’re committed to creating neighborhoods — and a region — where all people can thrive. 🙌🏽
The Fund is made possible by founding sponsor Peoples Gas, with generous support from Boeing, IMC, Nicor Gas, PNC, and Target. Special thanks to academic partner DePaul University School of Public Service and pro-bono partner Compass Pro Bono.
