The Moment of Attack - I guess this means I do wildlife photography now; birdwatching at the very least.

During the eclipse I had the rare opportunity to photograph a Great Blue Heron in a large pond next to my aunt's house. I sat and watched him for over an hour until a second Heron showed up and scared this first one away.

Took these with my Nikon and a manual focus 28-200.

It was really cool, more to come.

on Eastman XX in the loop. From one of the first rolls of B&W film that I developed and scanned entirely on my own.

The grain profile for this film stock is really strong. I couldn't find much development info on this stock so I used what I had and did a close approximation; I wonder if that has anything to do with the strong grain.
