Experienced Concrete Finisher Wanted – Full-Time Position

Ranger Contracting is seeking an experienced concrete finisher to join our team full time. We are a signatory contractor out of Chicago with Cement Masons Local 502 and a certified SDVOSB / SDVBE company.

We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and accountable concrete finisher who takes pride in quality workmanship and understands the demands of commercial concrete work.

Position Requirements:

* Must have experience in concrete finishing
* Must know how to frame concrete work
* Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
* Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
* Must have reliable transportation
* Must own basic concrete hand finishing tools
* Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours
* Must be able to work 6 days per week
* Typical workdays are 8–10 hours

* Will be held accountable for performance, attendance.

Ten days in, and Ranger is making major progress at the Community Center project in Bridgeview.

Here are a few highlights from the first stretch:

* Framed and poured over 4,000 LF of curb
* Framed and poured over 3,000 SF of walk and patio
* Poured over 250 cubic yards of concrete
* 200+ White Monster energy drinks consumed

With the entire south building now complete, our team is shifting focus to the north building next.

Strong start, solid production, and plenty more ahead.

Beautiful day for some flatwork and curb work at Ranger. One part of the team wrapped up 1,500 square feet of hand-jointed ramp and walkway, while the other crew completed the final stretch of curb for the south building.

Big progress happens one day at a time.

We’re steadily chipping away at this larger project, with foundation building work moving forward and more curb poured today. Every phase brings us one step closer, and we’re proud to keep the momentum going with quality work each day.
