On our last day open we wanted to thank everyone for their support of our little ice cream shop. We opened January 2020 and the timing was just not meant to be. We can’t express in words the overwhelming joy it has been to see so many smiles in one spot! We will miss this space! OPEN 12-6 TODAY

During this last week we are doing our best to keep all your favorite flavors in stock. Chocolate Peanut Butter will be in stock Thursday!! We can’t thank you enough for the kind words and well wishes. Our main concern has been resolved: Our staff have all secured employment with good benefits before our last day so there will be no interruption for them! 🙏 🌈

It is with heavy hearts and lots of tears Jay & I have decided to close the doors at Sundae Stop. Opening in January 2020, 2 months before a global pandemic, was a great challenge for us. Being able to donate our ice creams to hospitals & first responders during the pandemic has been the highlight of our short 2.5 years in business.
As much as we would love to continue to make fresh, homemade ice cream with great ingredients, we cannot any longer.
We want to thank the community by opening our doors on Sunday October 2nd from 12-6pm for our last official day of business. We look forward to serving you for the next couple weeks. We will be open 4pm Tue-Sun.
We are so grateful for the opportunity that Lakeview has given us to serve the best ice cream in Chicago.
