A ballroom with good bones and an even better design plan.

Three days before guests took their seats, this room looked very different.

The vision called for the romance of an evening garden party, but the approach was never about disguising the ballroom. It was about working with its history. Art Deco chandeliers remained overhead while custom flooring, architectural millwork, pleated sconces, and layers of floral gradually reshaped the room around them.

Every addition had to earn its place. Not simply because the room carried decades of architectural character, but because it also needed to welcome a guest list large enough to fill it.

What emerged felt less like a ballroom makeover and more like a room settling into a new identity for the night.

The kind of transformation that reveals itself one detail at a time.
