New music from my good friend Fur Trader (aka Andrew Pelletier) link in his bio. Really enjoyed hanging the wallpaper and drapes on this one. Cut tons of Farfisa VIP500, Hammond S6 and lines and pads. Then sliced, diced and mangled them with the Prime Time 93, .asm Count to 5 and Space Echo 201 I played the Snare drum and mic’d it with an old AKG C12 (which felt like breaking the law) No harm was done... used a Ticonderoga Pencil (eraser end) as the drumstick. Fun with toys. Mastered but Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering.

Not all, but some of the nasty little family of amps in here right now. I love them all and try not to play favorites. Thx for the loaners .

‘Tis the season for strumming by the tree. This is my very first guitar, a late-70’s FG-331. My mom bought it for me for $60 used through a classified ad in the in 1983. (Thanks, Mom) From a collector standpoint, it’s nothing remarkable but it’s special to me. It sent me on a journey... one I’m still on. I left it at my parents’ house for the past 30 years so I had something to play when I visited. Last year I decided to bring it back to my home. It gets plenty of use and still plays great. The dent on the back corner reminds me of my youth and what a little s**t I was sometimes. In 5th or 6th grade my interest in acoustic guitar was waning and my Mom was pestering me to practice before my lesson after school. I hadn’t practiced all week. In a fit I threw the guitar down against a chair or something and the binding and sidewall suffered a nasty little blow. I felt pretty bad and I don’t think I’ve ever intentionally mistreated an instrument since. I’ll probably never repair it, just as a reminder. I keep most of my acoustics in their cases, but this one stays on the wall, ready for action. I hope my kids pick it up someday (and don’t throw it against a chair)

Spent a few nights in the woodshop this week and built this oak pedal rack for the control room wall. Kind of proud of myself.
